We are THRILLED to announce FREEWIND MARTIAL ARTS in Moses Lake, Washington as the first Official GUARDIANS NETWORK MEMBER SCHOOL and the very first Martial Arts School to become a member of the JONI'S ANGELS MARTIAL ARTS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM!!
This is an AWESOME school with GREAT people and we are so proud to have them representing Joni's Angels / Guardians of the Martial Way.

This GREAT school is led by Grandmaster Brian Oakes, a ninth degree Black Belt and recipient of the G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time) award for his contributions to the Art. LOTUS SELF DEFENSE ACADEMY of Spokane, Washington is our fourth Official GUARDIANS NETWORK MEMBER SCHOOL, and we are proud to have them as an outlet for the JONI'S ANGELS MARTIAL ARTS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM! This AWESOME school has been serving the good people of Spokane for over 30 years - and they have ALWAYS provided GREAT mentorship and guidance for the young people enrolled at their school.
This school was founded by Ajarn Roy Harrington - an outstanding Martial Artist and Instructor who has helped hundreds of struggling young people in the greater Spokane area overcome the challenges that confront most inner-city youth. Now led by his son, Ajarn Gabriel Harrington, and his fantastic team of Instructors, Lotus Self Defense Academy continues to help the young people in their area develop self-confidence, self-control, discipline, and all of the strength of character that struggling young people facing hardships need to survive and excel - often letting those who cannot afford to pay continue to attend classes free of charge until their situation improves.
The good people at Lotus Self-Defense Academy of Spokane exemplify the kindness, the character, and the spirit that we look for in a great Martial Arts school, and we feel blessed to have them serve as the one and only outlet for our program in Spokane.
Green Dragon Martial Arts - Chapel Hill, Tennessee
We are THRILLED to announce GREEN DRAGON MARTIAL ARTS, located in the heart of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, as the very first GUARDIANS NETWORK MEMBER SCHOOL east of the Mississippi! Not every Martial Arts school that we look at as a potential outlet for our Joni's Angels Martial Arts Scholarship lives up to our high standards, but this school is everything that we look for and more!
This is school has an AWESOME Instructors and program! Led by Sigong Jimmy Cahill, a sixth degree Black Belt, Level 2 Krav Maga Instructor and Founder of Green Dragon Martial Arts, the quality of instruction is second to none.
This school is known throughout the Southeast for having an OUTSTANDING youth program and Instructors who are GREAT role models - that's why we chose them to be our very first GUARDIANS NETWORK MEMBER SCHOOL in the Southeastern United States. They are currently taking applications for our program and will soon be our primary outlet east of the Mississippi.

We are proud to announce NORTH IDAHO JIU JITSU of Sandpoint, Idaho as our sixth GUARDIANS NETWORK MEMBER SCHOOL and the first outlet for our Joni's Angels Martial Arts Scholarship in Idaho!
Led by Coach Jon Brown, this GREAT school features classes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Krav Maga, Muay Thai and Self Defense - all taught by WORLD CLASS INSTRUCTORS - and it features one of the most successful youth programs in the Pacific Northwest. When it comes to meeting the high standards that we set for Martial Arts to be eligible to serve as an outlet for our program, it simply doesn't get any better than North Idaho Jiu Jitsu!!!
Bradley's Taekwondo - Chewelah, Washington
Joining us from Chewelah, Washington is BRADLEY'S TAEKWONDO!!! Led by Owner and Senior Instructor, Sandra Bradley, this great school is a 501c3 Nonprofit that has been helping young people in Stevens County and doing great things for their local community since 2007.
Sandra is a 5th Degree Black Belt in the Art of Taekwondo, and like all of the great Instructors in our Guardians Network Member Schools, she is fully committed to providing world-class instruction, mentorship and guidance to the students that fall under her care ... no wonder Bradley's Taekwondo is considered by many to be the best martial arts school in Stevens County and the surrounding area!!!
