Join Us for Our First Fundraising Seminar Registration Now Open!!!

We are excited to announce that registration is now OPEN for our first-ever fundraising seminar. "Self-Defense with Weapons and Empty Hand: Practical Defenses and Disarms". This one-day event is taking place on Sunday, August 10th at Freewind Martial Arts in Moses Lake, Washington and promises to be an historic event. This seminar will be taught by Sifu Charlie Hicks and Steve Altfillisch and covers self-defense against weapons with both weapons and empty hand.

Our goal with this seminar is to raise enough money to fund at least one young person at Freewind Martial Arts in our Joni's Angels Martial Arts Scholarship Program, and this is a special event for us, so we are pulling out all of the stops to make a special occasion for everyone who attends.

Here's what we'll be covering:

• Single Stick vs Single Stick Defenses and Disarms.

• Empty Hand vs. Single Stick Defenses and Disarms.

• Blade vs. Blade Defenses and Disarms.

• Empty Hand vs Blade Defenses and Disarms.

  
  

**As a special bonus section, Krav Maga expert Steve Altfillisch will be teaching gun disarms against both handguns and rifles.

This seminar will be presented by Sifu Charlie Hicks and Steve Altfillisch. Sifu Charlie is a forty year veteran Martial Artist with an Instructor-level background in Filipino Martial Arts, Wing Chun and Jeet Kune Do. Steve Altfillisch is a veteran Krav Maga Instructor and an Expert in Tzu Jan Martial Art. Both Instructors are widely respected and sought after for their expertise with both weapons and empty hand self defense. You will learn some HIGHLY EFFECTIVE self defense, get to have a GREAT time with other Martial Artists, make some new friends, and help provide the opportunity for young people facing economic hardship participate in classes at AWESOME Martial Arts schools … what could be better? It's a great way to spend the day!!!

We will also be offering hand-crafted Escrima sticks to both participants and visitors at the seminar as a gift with your donation of $20 or more, and participants who register at the $70 level will also receive an original, hand-crafted and fire-hardened Escrima stick, made by Sifu Charlie and Steve Altfillisch. Participants will also receive a free Seminar Handbook that details the information and techniques covered during the seminar to take home and review. This promises to be an EXCITING and FUN-FILLED event! We hope that you will join us for this special occasion.
